How We Started
A family's journey from inspiration to impact
A program built on commitment
Eighteen years, hundreds of beds, seven Idaho cities. The numbers are easy. The lives behind them are why we keep going.

From Inspiration to Impact
The whole thing started in 2007. Marc and Antoinette flew to Florida to be at their nephew's one-year sobriety celebration. He was living in a sober house his treatment program had recommended.
He invited them to his AA home group the night he picked up his chip. They stayed after, met his friends, and saw how those guys were holding each other up day after day.
It clicked. Sobriety isn't just about not using — it's about who's around you when the meeting ends. They went home and started building that in Idaho.
Our Journey
The Inspiration
Marc and Antoinette flew to Florida for their nephew's one-year sobriety celebration. They watched what a sober house full of guys looking out for each other was doing for him — and saw what Idaho was missing.
Rising Sun Opens
A year later, the first house opened in Boise. Men only, sober, clean, with someone there to keep it that way.
Expanding Across Idaho
Demand kept outrunning the beds. Houses opened in Caldwell, Nampa, Twin Falls, Idaho Falls, Lewiston, and Pocatello — for women too, not just men.
500+ Beds Statewide
Seven cities, more than 500 beds, and house managers who actually know the people living under their roof.
